Privacy Policy & Terms

When you learn about, contact, or play something from Scavdev, here is how we handle information - and the ground rules for using our website and games.

Privacy Policy

2. Scope

This policy explains how information is handled in connection with the Scavdevwebsite (scavdev.com), our social channels, and the games we publish. Individual games may have game-specific practices; where they do, the details are described in that game's own privacy notice. This policy does not cover third-party platforms we link to (such as itch.io, Google Play, YouTube, or GitHub), which have their own policies.

3. What we collect

We keep what we collect to a minimum:

  • When you contact us - if you email us or message us on a social channel, we receive the contact details you provide (for example, your email address and name) and we use them to reply to you.
  • Website technical data - the hosting provider of this website may process basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) in aggregated and security logs. We do not use this to build profiles of individual visitors.
  • Our games - our games do not require accounts, and gameplay data is stored locally on your device. Games that display advertising may transmit device identifiers to advertising partners so that ads can be served and measured, exactly as described for each game.
  • Links and embeds - pages on this website link to, or embed content from, third-party platforms. Those platforms set their own cookies and handle data under their own privacy policies.

4. What we do not collect

  • Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address unless you choose to share it with us.
  • Precise location, health, biometric, or other sensitive personal data.
  • Payment card details - our games contain no in-app purchases.
  • Your high score or gameplay data, which stays on your device and is never uploaded to us.

5. Why this data is used

  • To respond to you - replying to your emails, questions, and support requests.
  • To operate this website - keeping it secure, available, and performing correctly.
  • Advertising in games - selecting advertisements, limiting ad frequency, and measuring campaigns, where a game shows ads.
  • Fraud prevention and legal compliance - detecting invalid traffic, abuse, and complying with legal obligations.

We do not use this data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, we do not build marketing profiles about you, and we do not sell your personal information.

6. Legal basis, consent, and your choices

European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Where these laws apply and personalised advertising is shown in one of our games, we rely on your consent. Before personalised ads are shown, the game displays the platform's consent form and your choice is propagated to the participating advertising partners. If you decline, the game remains fully playable - you may simply receive non-personalised advertising or advertising from a smaller set of partners.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Where you have enabled Global Privacy Control or a similar "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" signal, we honour it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

United States (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to opt out of sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may exercise your rights by emailing us.

7. Who we share information with

We share limited data with the service providers who host and operate this website, and, where a game displays advertising, with the advertising partners selected through that game's ad configuration. Each partner is an independent controller or processor for the data it receives and is responsible for its own handling under its own privacy policy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not disclose it to data brokers. We will disclose information if required by law.

8. Retention

We operate no server that stores your personal information from our games, so there is no server-side copy for us to retain. Correspondence you send us is kept only as long as necessary to handle your request. Information handled by advertising partners is retained for the period set out in that partner's own privacy policy.

9. Your rights and deleting your data

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information processed about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Request deletion of personal information
  • Object to, or restrict, certain processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Complain to your local data protection authority

For games, you can reset or delete advertising identifiers on your own device at any time (for example, on Android via Settings › Privacy & security › Ads). To request deletion of any personal information we may hold, email scavdevelopments@gmail.comwith the subject line "Privacy Request". We aim to acknowledge every request within 30 days and may ask you to verify your request.

10. Children privacy

Our games and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at scavdevelopments@gmail.com and we will assist you.

11. Security

Data transmitted on this website and in our games is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS/TLS connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International transfers

Advertising partners and service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where personal information is transferred outside the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, transfers are made in accordance with applicable safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy decision.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website or our games after an update means the revised policy applies from that point onward.

14. Contact us

If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at scavdevelopments@gmail.com, or through the Contact page on this website.

10. Changes to these terms
